"Hiya Jun! What's on your mind?" Maya asked Jun with her usual cheerful tone, curious as to what he was thinking about.

She was very familiar with Jun, and with that familiarity comes with being able to sense if something was off with him. "What's wrong? You don't look too well today?" She asked him with some concern in her voice.

"Hm..." Being the big sister that she was, Maya knew that she had to do something to make him feel better. This was a perfect opportunity for her to treat him. "Speaking of which, I don't think I've eaten yet. What do you say we go and eat out? My treat of course!"

"Of course I'm positively sure. I mean, I'm not an editor who makes a decent amount of money for nothing yknow?" Maya walks up to him and placed her hand onto his shoulder while giving him a grin. "I'd pick to eat at Clair De Lune, but I want you to pick where we can eat."

"Alright then, let's head off!" And with that being said, she takes his hand and heads out into the streets of Sumaru City with him. As they walked, she took the time to admire the cityscape. "It's a beautiful day isn't it?"

Maya would glance at Jun occasionally. Even if he wasn't such a talkative person, it was nice to be around him due to his calming aura. "How have you been lately? It's been awhile since I've gotten the chance to hang out around you, especially with just the two of us."

Upon reaching the table, Maya sat down onto one chair across from him and started to browse over the contents of the menu in front of her. "Go ahead and pick any food you'd like. It's all on me!"

Why? Eggnog is good!

"Good morning Eikichi! Same as always eh?"

"Oh come on now Tatsuya! It's the holiday season! Maybe it's time for a change and consider decorating even just a little bit?"

Just like what she had mentioned earlier, she wanted some beef bowls, so she was already decided on what to order and was just waiting for him to decide. "I'm getting some beef bowls. What about you?"

"Oh wow. Well uh... At least that's a start. Do you have lights to go with it?"

After giving him a nod, she calls the waiter and tells them their orders. The waiter left eventually so now it's just the two of them. She stretches her arms slightly. "Ah, it's finally a good say to have a day off. I'm telling you, I've been cranking articles nonstop..."

"Well... Good thing I got some!" She brings out some Christmas lights and puts it around the tree. How did she get it? Who knows? "There we go. Doesn't it look nice?"
