The May 31 occultation of Saturn from NE Argentina: genuine, as visible through the C8. No photomontage, no AI! ๐Ÿ˜Š The turbulence was high but the sky was clear to show Saturn partly disappearing behind the dark part of the Moon (grazing occultation) Image 1/2: before occultation

Impressive solar activity today: many sunspot groups, a huge prominence (dark filament over the disk) and above all outstanding eruptive loops materializing the solar magnetic fields! ๐Ÿ˜Ž The Earth at scale on the left edge ๐Ÿ˜…

One of the biggest sunspots of the solar cycle faces Earth today! ๐Ÿ˜Ž Several groups are able to host powerful eruptions that could generate geomagnetic storms and auroras in the days to come ๐Ÿ˜

The Moon, Saturn...and the ISS! ๐Ÿ˜Ž After the May 31 occultation from Argentina, I wanted something more challenging! ๐Ÿ˜ I decided to install my telescope in Spain, in a precise place near the Almendra dam in Castilla&Leon to catch the ISS just 30 min after the occultation ๐Ÿ˜œ
