Indie comics has been the life blood of the industry for decades, but if I'm being honest, I feel like we've really dropped the ball. We need that indie spark to light the way again. We need to create the comics of the future, not look back at the comics of the past.

Just tossing in my two cents, but: Here's what I think are the necessary ingredients for an indie comic that attracts (and holds) and audience, and stands a chance of lasting a good long while: 1.) A main character that you (the comic creator) will never get bored of, and can
