I loved this story, it could have used more Ibuki and Akatsuki but we move the things we did get were incredible

While HiMERU was a major focus, Ibuki got a LOT of content and especially major set-up for his center event with his father. Ibuki is someone who has always tried to find a place where he is accepted and loved and to him that place is Akatsuki. It is a powerful conflict

I think an important note to make about the new Star Fox game is that for people being introduced to the series after the Mario movie especially young kids (who I see this as targeting), this isn’t Star Fox 64 to them, this is a new experience

I honestly don’t have much to say on Civil War. It was an amazing story that was received well and my favs won the story.

People downplay Nazuna’s role and commitment to Valkyrie back before the war too much for my liking. He was just AS radically committed to Shu’s vision as Mika (maybe even more so in his 1st year). Also he didn’t form a new unit until after 6 months of Shu being depressed.

Chiaki is complex with the levels of masks he puts up on the par as Wataru. I tried to put together an analysis of his character and it literally gave me a migraine.

Not really a hot take, but the reason Nazuna feels so irrelevant is because he keeps being in the first center event cycle ES1: Conflict over Work/School balance -> Immediately gets solved in his center ES2: Conflict over his over reliance on cute -> Immediately gets solved

Remember Keito’s original Three Eccentrics plan was based around playing to the emotions of the unmotivated and what ended up pushing Keito out of the war following Meteor Impact was seeing the demon of emotional turmoil he created and how it effected him emotionally.
