I’m incensed watching the PM talk about farmers like this. We don’t want a tax break we want a fair playing field. Shame on him and well done to all the farmers who blocked him in today - keep going.

A ‘fair playing field’ is when farmers are paid properly for what we grow. A ‘fair playing field’ is not being undercut by cheap imports produced to lower welfare standards. We already pay our taxes.

And a ‘fair playing field’ is not asking farmers to run 2/3 other jobs/businesses to make ends meet when they already have an incredibly demanding job.

The 1 radical thing we should be doing is building the country’s health, based on food produced by us. If you want to drive NHS waiting times down, put better food, produced by UK farmers, in hospitals. Schools, food education, respect for the land! Let’s get society healthy 1st!
