This is the bare bones of a new story set in the Victorian era. I like to show children how messy my writing process is, the story ideas, development of the characters, and the graft and joy that comes from drafting. And when it comes to writing that teachers are always right.

Words are for enjoying, for connecting you to others, to history to mystery, for having a laugh with. Words can and should be children's friends. Once they are, they just might enjoy writing them down. King Arthur might sound heavy, but King Author is often a gateway. #writing

Every day is read a book day for #BookHeadz I'm reading this, absolutely fascinating as well as funny. There are some similarities with education.
