“Hoppy” Leap Year! 🐸 Our Pre-K students read about frogs & created their own frogs following step-by-step directions. Our Kindergartners added facts about frogs to their drawings. Our 4th graders used databases to research animals that leap to celebrate #LeapYear!

We “Read Across America with Women in History.” 1st graders read about Simone Biles, & wrote something that was difficult for them to do. 5th graders wrote about a woman from their personal life & researched a woman that has made a positive contribution to society. #D31Reads

Welcome back to the library! #Aquaponics

3K students are celebrating springtime by reading fiction and non-fiction books about spring as well as planting wheatgrass! Last Monday, we planted wheatgrass. Today, they observed and logged how much it grew! It grew past the houses and fences they made! #GrowYourOwn

4th grade students turned back time to their nursery rhyme days & read Humpty Dumpty. Fast forward to 4th grade, we read After the Fall: How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again. Students planned & designed a chair to safely sit on the wall, and offered some advice for Humpty Dumpty.
