10 WEEK Isocaloric study.

*Importantly* modest bw increase both groups but NOT different between groups.

The below was observed...without weight loss.

- Insulin lower in the PUFA group
- Liver fat lower in the PUFA group

Any data that seed oils are uniquely fattening beyond their calories?

Also fat distribution has to be a part of this - given that all body fat is not equally deleterious when it comes to metabolic health.

He had prior heart disease and he's been trying to cure it with a carnivore diet.
He's read Big Fat Surprise so he knows it's nothing to do with his elevated cholesterol and he refused statins etc
Now he has open heart surgery in a few weeks.

Why argue about optimising one important metric of health when you can optimise multiple :)

Crazy as it seems...you can lower your ApoB and exercise to get a high VO2 Max. My ApoB is 50-60 mg/dl and VO2 max above 50.

Replacing diet soda with water led to 1.8 kg of weight gain over 3-6 months.

But replacing sugar sodas with water led to 0.8 kg of weight loss over 6 months.
