Really recommend "How to survive" by John Hudson as a great read for everyone. The cross over from real life extreme survival examples to how these can be applied to every day situations makes for a simple to follow, but highly compelling read. Many take aways to improve life!

Working up to a 5km time trial. Gradually worked so far from 20 x 250m reps to 7 x 715m reps, each time ~5km total distance. 1 less rep each time.

A simple negative split 5k this afternoon, aiming to just break 18mins.

2k reps for the first time in a long time. Still pushing for the target of a sub 17:30 for 5k.

Season's best row for 30mins yesterday. Target to beat was 8203m from Oct 2020.

A season's best, albeit a long way from historical pb pace. A good strong, and solidly paced session.

First attempt at this month's CTC, a straight 6000m.

Another 6k a couple of days later. Most of the time gained with a quicker first split.
