It is impossible that universalism is a heresy. St. Gregory of Nyssa taught it. He was called "bulwark against heresy" by Ephesus, and "indomitable champion of the Church" & "Father of Fathers" by Nicaea II. The Church doesn't bestow such honours upon heretics.

All churches should have a list of recognized, male laymen that are ready to disciple the younger men in the congregation. It is not the job of the pastor to mentor every individual young man and it is not a talent of an average young man to recognize who is a worthwhile mentor.
