So fun news. I'm moving on from my current gig in the federal Judiciary. Its been a fun and crazy ride, but an opportunity came up that I would be a fool to pass on. It puts me back in an AV community that I love dearly, and it puts me closer to my family and support system.

Slowly but surely exploring the various realms of rutgers today. Originally went to update a codec and get asset tags, ended up putting an associate in touch with their higher ed reps for Q-SYS. I don't know everything, but I certain know how to put the right folks in touch.

So CLT Airport, I know construction causes issues, but telling folks the TSA checkpoint "moves quickly" at a wait of 45 mins is not quick. To boot, having the TSA power trip on me about a metal water bottle, wow you're really stopping crime there.

This is so incredibly true. True story, 10 years ago this day I called Christopher Neto CTS while decompressing in Istanbul, and asked for a job, which eventually lead to my life in higher ed. 30 year old me would kill to be where I am now.

last year I was griping about going to reading PA at 6am to swap out an AMX processor, bc it was litterally holding up a federal case. Today: griping about going to rutgers site before noon because I wanted Wawa for lunch. Oh the rough life of higher ed.
