when you have a story like dorian gray written by a man who was criminally convicted for being gay, do u not see how fucking wrong it is to make the two main characters, who were clearly written as a hidden romantic interest, brothers.. you actually cannot get MORE disrespectful

With its emphasis on inclusivity and positivity #BeingAutistic Niamh Garvey illust. Bex Burgess- Ceasefire NOW JKP Books JKP Autism is strongly recommended in today’s #RedReadingHub’s review wp.me/p11DI5-cD1

So I was given an ARC of bsky @nikismithcomics and Jules Bakes' upcoming book, Sea Legs! This graphic novel has so much heart and would be a great read for any kid who's ever struggled with loneliness and difficult friendships. Review continues below...⛵️

Really enjoyed SPEAK UP! by Bex Burgess- Ceasefire NOW. It'll be available in the class library soon. #WhatAreYouReading? #MrSchneidersSealOfApproval

Finished off Bex Burgess- Ceasefire NOW's beautifully drawn and cringingly relatable (as a fellow asexual) How to Be Ace. A lovely, personal, and educational memoir told with focus and some really comforting artwork (in the colouring and usage of watercolours).
