5yo daughter is listening to a popular #Audiobook by an Irish writer, and the English #Narrator is pronouning the fairly frequent #Irish words dreadfully. It is making my jaw clench. How did this happen?

I love this! I often think about how sad it is that cars have ruined so much of children's play, and taken away their outdoor freedom. So closing a street simply for play, fun and creativity is wonderful thing.

What a gorgeous example of how important it is to give a #Neurodivergent person the time they need to talk. Sometimes it takes time for #Autistic people to get the words out, but it doesn't mean the words will be less interesting or important than anyone elses words.
