MOCNESS sample processed, with not much (low production and export). Only remarkable thing was a doliolid bloom in the lower epipelagic - not bad. Rough weather and difficult operation, but success!! #NSFfunded

There she goes! The URI Graduate School of Oceanography vessel RV Endeavor came to BIOS | Arizona State University to cover the absence of our vessel (she is at shipyard). My team joined the Bermuda Atlantic Time-Series Study (BATS 🦇) crew for our last cruise of our #NSFfunded grant on the role of #rhizaria in the oligotrophic ocean-more pictures to come!
