Zimbabwe's Gender Inequality Index currently stands at 0.532. Also 38.2% of women above 25 don't have secondary education. Adolescent birth rate is 94.3 per 1000. This is according to UN Development's latest #HDR2022. By advancing sustainable #MHM, we can change this to some extent.

Did you know that a disposable pad can contain can contain up to 70% plastic equivalent to about 4 shopping bags; and that plastic can take up to 500 years to decompose? Help save the earth by switching to the menstrual cup. #LoveYourPeriod🩸

Did you know that some disposable pads and tampons have pesticide residues, undisclosed fragrance chemicals, dioxins and furans and plastic! Some of these are linked to cancer, hormone disruption, reproductive toxicity, skin irritation, pollution and long-term health problems.

We need a world where menstrual health rights are respected so that school girls complete their education and achieve their dreams. Concrete policy and legal frameworks must be put in place to advance menstrual health and hygiene rights. #MenstruationMatters

Cost, safety, comfort and environmental impact are some of the factors to be considered when choosing a period product. The menstrual cup is the best choice which is very cost effective, provides great comfort and significantly reduces waste, contributing to a cleaner environment

This year's Int'l Day for the Eradication of Poverty comes at a time when 🇿🇼 faced drought this year & currently has the highest food inflation in the whole world which also worsens period poverty. Reusable period products such as the menstrual cup can help in reducing the burden

Many use tampons to manage their periods. But they don't do that. Instead, they just absorb everything, including all the vaginal moisture and vaginal flora, leaving you dry. The menstrual cup only collects what should be collected, and doesn't interfere with everything else.

🔟 The first 10 means that you can wear the cup up to 10 hours before emptying it. 🔟 The second 10 means one can use the cup for up to 10 years. 🔟 The last 10 means you only need to pay $10 once-off and you are good to go for the next decade. #LoveYourPeriod🩸

The menstrual cup is non-absorbent & can be used on light flows too. But you can't use tampons on light flow days or spotting days because your vagina is much drier during this time. Tampons are absorbent and they might dry you out more, which raises risks of Toxic Shock Syndrome

Did you know that our menstrual cup can hold up to three times as much fluid as a regular tampon! That's why it can be worn up to 10 hours, collecting your menstrual flow without interfering with your pH and allowing you to work or study without any hassle. #MakeTheSwitch
