Voters in the Colman-Egan School District have re-elected Mary Beth Zwart with 187 votes and elected newcomer Kirsten Taggart with 149 votes for two seats on the school board. Incumbent James Hiller received 52 votes. Voter turnout was 35 percent.

Trent election results: Jennifer Ahrendt was the winner in the town board race with 33 votes. Incumbent Rich Nord was second with 24 votes, followed by Todd Olson with 20 votes and Jami Alberts with 13. The ballot issue on raising the sales tax by 1 percent passed 60 to 31.

Incumbent Pedro Johnson and newcomers Jamie Hemmer and Kevin Christenson were elected to the Flandreau School Board. Johnson received 341 votes; Hemmer, 320; and Christenson, 228. Others: Blake Bergjord, 185; Kevin C. Burshiem, 165; April Eastman, 138, and Amanda Taylor, 43.
