Great time yesterday at William Patten School celebrating 136 years since the 1888 Matchgirls Strike. Presented poetry prizes, talked about the Strike and sang Matchgirls songs. Thanks to John, Lottie Walker and the wonderful staff. Poems: matchgirls1888.org/2024-schools-p… #matchgirls1888
