It’s interesting that The Lin Lab has three different ECS battery division award winners from three different stages of career. Left to right: early career award winner 2022 @fenglinvt, postdoctoral award winner 2019 Linqin Mu_穆林沁, student award winner 2021 Muhammad Mominur Rahman
Our recent publication is featured in Editors’ Highlights in Nature Communications, as one of the best papers recently published in the energy field. nature.com/collections/dm… Stay tuned, we have more exciting research works to share! The Lin Lab @fenglinvt
Congratulations Dr. Zhijie Yang, who defended his PhD on Ni-Rich and low/no-Co layered cathodes yesterday! Great work! Zhijie Yang Virginia Tech Chemistry
Congratulations to the newest Lin Lab PhD graduate, Dr. Stephanie Spence! Stephanie presented her work on the investigation of chemical and structural heterogeneities in spinel LNMO cathode materials. Stephanie Spence Virginia Tech Chemistry
⚠️Faculty Inventor Spotlight⚠️ @fenglinvt is an associate professor in Virginia Tech Chemistry with his #VTresearch focusing on #batteries, #energy technology, and #renewable fuels🔋 vt.edu/link/license/f…
.@fenglinvt's lab in Virginia Tech Chemistry is focused on building batteries 🔋 that are both cost effective and can hold a charge over thousands of power cycles for vehicles 🚗. #ElectricVehicles vtx.vt.edu/videos/k/2023/…
Last week we celebrated all that Zhengrui Xu has done in our lab, first as a PhD student (VT ‘21), then as a postdoc. While we are sad to see him go, we are excited to continue collaborating with him as he moves onto his next adventure as the co-founder and CTO of Fermi Energy!
Congratulations to our newest doctoral candidate, Anika Tabassum Promi, for passing her candidacy exam today! Anika’s research is on process parameter control for synthesis of sodium ion cathodes.
