2nd Album for the day, Pornography by The Cure. Always have had a love of them. They’ve never changed and sound now, just as they did back in 80’s. Always think of them as a safe space, you know what you are getting.

Tonights albums a special one for me. Power, Corruption and Lies is an amazing album, one of my favourites by anyone. Peter Hook New Order. Pure brilliance. As New Order found their feet and moved ever more electronic. You can feel Blue Monday within this album.

Rio by Duran Duran. Their second and possibly their finest album. Criminally underrated as a teen band at the time, this album is wall to wall excellence. From the opening title track to the close of the utterly flawless The Chauffeur, this is stunning in every way.

Second up, my favourite Duran Duran album, Notorious. Made after they lost 2 Taylor’s, dropped in Nile Rodgers, Warren Cuccurullo, Steve Ferrone, they produced this masterpiece. The part time fans had moved on to Aha, but this for me is a serious album that takes a step up.
