Went for a paddle in the canoe followed by a moonlit dip in Coniston, hanging around with some bats and owls. Lovely stuff.

We’re certainly being treated to some spectacular days and some epic sunsets this week in the Lake District.

Heads up if in #Grasmere or #Ambleside A591 currently closed between Badger Bar at #Rydal & #Grasmere. If thinking about going via Red Bank Road then just don’t, as it’s a 30 minute wait due to cluttered up standing traffic both ways on the steep uphill section. Cumbria Police
