Free College Application Week is happening THIS WEEK! From October 13–19 all Texas residents can apply to public colleges and universities for no fee through ApplyTexas. This is a great opportunity to remove a barrier & help more students achieve higher education.

Spent time at the MLK food bank in Dallas, serving alongside volunteers who show up every day for Texas families. The families coming through are often working two or three jobs. They’re doing everything right, but still can’t get ahead. That has to change, and I won’t stop

Working hard should be enough. That’s why I’m meeting Texans where they are — working shifts alongside them and listening. For too many families in TX-33, costs keep rising while paychecks don’t. I’m running to lower costs, raise wages, and make the economy work for the people
