The #farm industry is a big emitter of greenhouse gasses but it also could be a big part of the #climate solution. There's a lot of work going into developing and expanding markets for soil #carbon removal right now. reut.rs/32Yqrgx

Spring #wheat is looking rough but generally ok in the eastern part of North Dakota. Drought stress is evident though with variable stands and short plants. #wheattour21 is heading for the driest part of the state today and field by field yield estimates are expected to show it.

As expected, things are looking much drier the further west the #wheattour21 travels. Crop scouts estimated yield in this spring #wheat field near Pingree at around 27.5 buchels per acre. Yields further east were in the 35-45 range.

More than 300 Reuters journalists across the United States are stopping work today for a 24-hour walkout. We do not take this decision lightly, but we’re prepared to avail ourselves of all our legal rights to secure the contract we deserve.

Reuters Guild (@reutersguild) 's Twitter Profile Photo

For 20 months, we’ve been pressing for a new contract with serious diversity targets for the newsroom, a ban on NDAs that cover up harassment and discrimination, guaranteed wage increases that keep up with inflation, and more.

I am among hundreds of Reuters Guild journalists walking out today demanding a fair contract with reasonable wage increases. Thomson Reuters Steve Hasker are blocking us from sharing in rising profits our work generates and isn't bargaining in good faith. #NoContractNoNews
