Day 1 of rehearsal for Something Rotten in London!

It seemed appropriate (and slightly irreverent) to walk past The Globe on the way to Something Rotten rehearsal to hear the choir sing God, I Hate Shakespeare. ⁦⁦Something Rotten!⁩

Today is the ‘sitzprobe’ for ‘Something Rotten!’ - meaning the day when the cast and orchestra first perform together. It sounds amazing!

I love the way… that Evelyn Hoskins, Cassius Hackforth and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra are sounding in the Something Rotten! sitzprobe!

Çouldn't have loved Something Rotten more if I tried. The funniest show I have seen in a very long time! And that cast were incredible. Every single one of them. Give it a full West End run immediately!

I’ve rarely seen such an ecstatically received show as #SomethingRotten Theatre Royal Drury Lane. A lot of people had clearly been waiting a long time to finally see it on stage. Well, that was a hoot! This cast was a luxury of riches. And the London audiences delivered. So grateful to everyone for such an amazing experience.

Taylor Swift was supposed to do 3 concerts here in Vienna but had to cancel because of a terrorist threat. Over 65,000 disappointed fans, per night. So hundreds of Swifties have been gathering in the street all day and night and singing her songs together. It’s kind of beautiful.
