Much as I like to see the Tories in trouble, I don’t actually think MPs should be allowed to switch parties without resigning their seat. It breaks a contract with the voters (not to mention the activists who worked to get him elected).

Every ethnicity in America has a day to celebrate their heritage, with the exception of the English. There's no English Parade down NYC's 5th Avenue today, no Americans with bowler hats and Union Jack brollies playing God Save the King. Shame - did we do something to annoy them?

We have been blown away by all the lovely messages about the sad end of We Are History. You forget what an intimate medium a podcast is; it's as if we had all these friends who used to enjoy us chatting down the pub, but we're not going to their pub anymore. 😢
