Today our Year 10s and 11s are having the opportunity to be entertained by a live theatre production, with The Globe Players The Globe Players visiting school to perform two texts on the GCSE English syllabus, Romeo and Juliet and An Inspector Calls.

Thank you to the group of volunteers from AWE who gave up their time last week to help with renovating the students outdoor recreation space,our pond. They did a fantastic job and we are very grateful for their help.

'A new term brings some new spaces in the Learning Support area to continue and support our work with SEND students at the school. A big thanks to the Loddon Valley Lions for their kind generosity in helping us update these spaces!

It has been fantastic to see the Yopa estate agent boards up in the local area, supporting the 'Tech for Schools' campaign. A huge thank you to Yopa for their donation of £624 towards IT equipment, and also to our families for their support.

It was impossible to capture them all in one photograph, but we had an incredible 12 red kites on the field after lunchtime finished today. They are incredible to watch, and it was fantastic to be able to see them up close.

Our newly redesigned outdoor space is now open for our students to enjoy. It features two covered areas, new recycled bench seating, beautiful planting and our school values in bold and bright colours.

Tomorrow is the Gladiators event, where teachers will go up against students from years 7, 8 and 9 in five different agility tests. Why not come along and watch? The event runs from 3:00pm until 5:00pm with refreshments and snacks on sale. Cash and card machine available.

We are pleased with today’s results and are excited to celebrate our students' successes. The year group have achieved strong results, particularly with a significant number securing grades 7 and above. Well done to all our students.

Year 8 students are spreading the joy this Easter! They've collected an incredible 191 Easter eggs for Spotlight, the Basingstoke charity which provides affordable activities and support to vulnerable families. Spotlight will be picking up the eggs later this morning. Well done!
