ㅤ ⠀ just drawing up another glyph . . when she feels some eyes on her , and luz looks up and notices him . “ oh ! hi, oliver ! ” ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ “ i’m just practicing some glyph combo’s ! ” she showed her some of the ones she was practicing , smiling . “ eda’s out and king is sleeping , and since i didn’t really know what else to do , i thought i should take some time to perfect these a bit more . ” ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ “ yep ! ” she showed them to him , twirling her pen in her other hand out of habit . “ ooh . . yeah , that could be pretty cool ! i usually practice my magic just on my own , but i feel like that could be a good new experience ! ” ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ oh—! she nearly gets knocked over due to the other’s excitement , but she quickly fixes her footing ! and of course , she hugs the other back with a grin . “ collector ! how have you been ?? ” ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ SIGH . . and she holds her hand out , in a ‘ give it back ’ motion . “ . . no , i wouldn’t . how did you get in this time?” she could have sworn she locked everything before she went to sleep ! maybe eda forget to lock something ? who knows . . ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ “ that’s great ! how did you like it ?? we’ll have to read some of the third one , when we get the chance . . ” she was at least glad he had some help reading , and seemed to have fun as he read . that’s what mattered to her ! ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ “ oh ! well . . ” she shows him the journal in her hands . “ i’m trying to figure out a way to make a door back to the human realm , so i can see my family . i wouldn’t be leaving this place forever , of course , but . . i need to make sure my family is okay , ” ㅤ

ㅤ ⠀ “ well , i know i need titan blood , ” opening the journal , and skimming through the pages . “ i just got one issue , though . i don’t know where to get some . and i need to make sure i have enough since i know there’s gunna be a few failed attempts , ” ㅤ
