The team enjoyed a fantastic trip to Orkney last month, visiting the wonderful FranFlettHollinrake and team at @Saint_Magnus! The wealth of knowledge and research potential housed at the cathedral could not be more exciting for our researchers. Truly a once in a lifetime trip! ⛪️📜🤩

Yesterday I had the most amazing time at the Society for Church Archaeology 's annual conference at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral presenting my article on the shrine of Saint Werburgh alongside Dr Glen Chilly Bretzin of The Human Remains Project (UKRI FLF) project. Fantastic day with fantastic people!



We had the opportunity to meet up with the fantastic Liv Nilsson Stutz, @sarah_tarlow, & Rita Peyroteo Stjerna from the Ethical Entanglements Project this week to chat about all things human remains and ethics as well as future collaboration and ideas for our respective projects! 💀




On Monday I was delighted to join The Human Remains Project (UKRI FLF) team at St Collen's in Llangollen. What an amazing roof!


Last week the team took a trip down to Llangollen to visit Suzanne Evans at St Collen's Church and learn all about the upcoming project plans. What a fascinating place!
