Togetherness & strength through solidarity is that power that binds our communities. We have felt worried for the mental well-being of the people we know, the amazing street that we are on and those who have already had the most perilous journeys. We offer a safe space for you.

We were looking at the minutes of our very first AGM in January 2000 the other day, and Albert was there, alongside other members of ISCRE who were so important in the early days of Suffolk Refugee Support. An inspiration to us all. RIP Albert.

Yesterday,we welcomed National Press to The Hive to cover the breaking news that after 33 years of agonising waiting, our friend Oliver Campbell has had his conviction of murder quashed.He has patiently waited and had a team of hero’s that really made this happen. A painful time.

Had a beautiful lunch at hive today as part of the Tuesday social. We had a sat down meal together, to thank & celebrate Omar, who has supported + worked on these sessions for a long time.He has given tours of the space, talked, supported + welcomed so many people. Thanks Omar!

Very cool cinema night last night with Rick Baylor 1980s experimental films, set in Ipswich including some of those people featured in the audience! Hive looked great and Ipswich night club Olivia’s dj from back in the day had the after show disco. IT went OFF🎶🔥great crowd 🔥
