Wow. Incredible, really. Does it get any more poor than this, NORTHERN 🚆? A resilience plan this sparse is beyond acceptable. To shut down a full railway station in the peak is a complete failure, and is effectively unfit for purpose.
That’s the second tram fault in one day on the same line. What’s going on with the trams Bee Network? There seems to be so many faults all of a sudden. Several, if not most days last week…
Another ‘tram fault’ on the Bee Network Ashton-Eccles line?! Is that the third day in a row? There are now more days in a week with faults than without. Something is going wrong here.
That was the worst and most unsafe train journey I’ve experienced. CrossCountry Trains you should be ashamed. You lay on a dirty, old train. And allow it to fill to the gunnels. People jammed in filling toilets, vestibules and luggage hold areas. Elderly and disabled people, and
‘Oh b.. b… but the Altrincham line is exte..’ Nonsense. It always makes more sense to just offer more capacity throughout the day, especially when both events are post-6pm, after the peak. Now there’ll be single trams at the wrong time. Bee Network bought half-platform trams.

The Class 397 ‘Nova 2’ is a very fast-accelerating EMU, if not one of the fastest accelerating units on the railway. Designed to speed up journeys and cut delays easily when late. So why are TPE Customer Assist operating them like slow-horse HSTs? It’s not the ‘Orient’ Express 😅
