Twitter Web App : The next few days are critical due to his condition but so far Rex is doing well and we are hopeful that this has been lifesaving surgery. For obvious reasons, we are keen to find out how Rex ended up in such a critical condition and why veterinary care was not sought earlier.

Orlo : A second man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Horndean on August 3 where a dog was stolen.

A 36-year-old man from Paulsgrove was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He has been released from custody but remains under investigation.


Twitter Web App : Under general anesthetic the vet found that Rex had a tea towel in his gut. This has been there for some time, making Rex’s condition continually deteriorate and areas of the intestine had turned black. Had this been left much longer it is likely that he would not have survived.


Since he went missing on October 11th there have been no confirmed sightings - he is a nervous boy who will be missing home - have you seen him with anyone??

Twitter Web App : He was found to be dehydrated and a blood test showed very low sodium and chlorine levels. Although Rex began to drink and eat at the vets, his demeanor and blood levels did not improve and a contrast dye test showed on x ray that his digestive system was not working as it should
