Happy 84th birthday to director Brian DePalma. The girl on the Amity billboard in #JAWS was DePalma’s then gf. Production designer Joe Alves drew a mock up, which was okayed by Steven Spielberg. The Universal sign dept painted it and Joe’s team glued it on a wooden frame.
