Scrabster Castle beside #WW2 Pillbox,Caithness (Scotland) It's thought there might be a broch underlying this medieval structure, which is thought to date to at least the 14th C. It may have even featured in the #Orkneyinga Saga! Caithness Broch Project info/image turned into a mock-up.

🗣️ TALKING BROCHS! 🗣️ A pleasure to speak with Trimontium Trust a few days ago - over 100 attending in person and online. Give us a shout if you'd like the team to talk for your organisation. We have team members based across the UK - we're maybe not as far away as you think!

Annual strim of #Nybster Broch! Will probably need another pass - if anyone would like to help strim / rake, we'd really appreciate a hand. Props to Chris Aitken MM0WIC, Ian Leith, Kristin Main and Cllr Raymond Bremner.
