Today I signed into law LB276, the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Act, which was introduced by @NebraskaAnna. This legislation will help transform mental health and substance abuse services across Nebraska.

Integrated Behavioral Health Council (IBHC) met last week. Clinical directors from across MO convene to network and learn about issues impacting their work in community behavioral health across MO. Thanks to MO DMH staff who attended and the Missouri Credentialing Board.

In August, Behavioral Health Crisis Centers saved Missouri communities approximately $18.5 million from hospitalization diversions, jail diversions, and law enforcement time.

Proud of the hard work our BHCCs are doing to provide lifesaving care while also saving money diverting away from more expensive and unnecessary hospitalizations or jail stays.
