“The American ppl are very much like the children of a Mafia boss who do not know what their father does for a living & don’t want to know, but then they wonder why someone just threw a firebomb thru the living room window. This is exactly who we are” —Bill Blum,

The Trump Admin is closing all USDA Forest Service research facilities in Michigan. Losing these facilities threatens our fight against invasive pests which will jeopardize 3 million acres of forest in Michigan.

France made this wastefulness illegal cause it’s cruel and only causes more waste issues. Any food market or restaurant over 400 square meters has to donate all their good unsold food to charities and are fined if they do anything like this. That law should be applied everywhere

My problem with the “he wouldn’t actually do it” and “institutional checks would step in to stop him” arguments regarding any of Trump’s unhinged threats is that we are in this position precisely because, at every prior stage, he did do it and nobody stepped in to stop him.

They did all that mythologizing of the 1960s civil rights movement & nonviolent protest just to stand silent as the Democratic administration turned the teargas on nonviolent, anti-war protests. And now they’re asking where the protests are. More than unserious. DANGEROUS.

I promise you burning down warehouses and data centers, destroying flock cameras, torching police cars and killing CEOs will achieve more in 3 months that 10 years of peaceful nonviolent protest or voting. That's the 🌎 we live in now.

This is such disingenuous bullshit. I had elderly friends (professors) beaten up trying to protect students from even worse violence. We watched nearly daily as they beat and sprayed students with chemical agents. Under BIDEN.

In 1964, the New York Times editorial board called a civil rights anti-segregation walkout of New York City public schools "violent," "reckless," and "demanding the impossible."
