This year’s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination focuses on the urgency of combatting #racism and racial discrimination.

Today the The Whitehall & Industry Group Women in Leadership course met with Auditory Verbal UK who shared with us the phenomenal work they do to literally give a voice to deaf children through therapy, and support to families. Our job was to provide new ideas for their strategy #Disability #Deaf

As a panel we shared our lived-experience as disabled professionals. It's apparent there are still many challenges faced by disabled people and employers need to do more to embed #DisabilityInclusion and develop inclusive cultures for #disabled people to thrive in the workplace.
