On this day in 1977, the greatest sports themed movie of all time was released. SLAPSHOT. Classic!! One of my favorite pieces is a simple cut signed by Paul Newman. I caught him sneaking out of an event in NYC. Newman signed it as we walked up the block to avoid being seen.

Early morning run to track down UNC legend & NCAA Champ Joel Berry II. When I tell you this kid couldn't have been any nicer... times that by 10 and that's how nice he was. Awesome add to my signed SI collection!

Rest in Peace Don Shula. Legendary man and coach. Always overly polite to me when I met him.
