Appalled at the delayed rescue operations for my friend Anurag Maloo (he/him/his), FRSA #Climbing4SDGs who has been missing for 2 days. Baljeet and him went missing the same day on the same mountain. Thankfully she was rescued by the helicopters sent the next day. Why no swift action was taken for Anurag?

Now the weather is so bad on the Annapurna mountain that things are delayed further. And I don't understand how a petition signing by people, which has been doing the rounds online, will help #AnuragMaloo 's rescue. Rescue team was supposed to be there on location 2 days ago!!

Sorry to break your bubble but human lives are not rescued by how many shares happen on social media. And signing petitions won't wake up the people responsible for the rescue to act in time!! #AnuragMaloo
