Southern Rust starting to show up all over southern Illinois this week. In the last 48 hrs I have seen the start of it in Jefferson, Fayette, Marion, Clay, jasper, and wabash counties. If you have unsprayed susceptible hybrids, especially late planted fields scouting is a must.

Pretty easy to pick out the split planter in the middle of this field. It will be interesting to overlay this with the climate yield map at harvest this year.

Out flying a very dry FTN on this hot Friday afternoon in Morgan county. Using the NDVI today, should be interesting to see the differing crop response to the weather.

Flying the UAV over a spatial Corn trial today. Building the plant health map in flight and will have a live map before it even lands. This technology is amazing and has advanced so much in the last couple years.
