Abhishek Sharma in the Powerplay against Off spin: SR of 157 which is +16 than an average batter in this phase. Off spinner takes the ball away from a LHB but thats not a problem for Abhishek, as he's not a slogger that many assume him to be. He is just insane in the extra cover

The amount of freedom SRH batters feel while batting 1st can't be compared to that while chasing a competitive total. Yes, it would've been an unconventional decision, but DC should've batted 1st. #IPL2026

A few days ago, I wrote on how T20 Teams have Type advantages like in Pokemon and how knowing the vulnerabilities of the opponent type can be very advantageous. Many of you wanted to know about IPL's past winners and their types across the start. So, buckle up with some new

In general people are too antsy about this stuff. T20 is a boom bust format. A guy not scoring over 6 games doesn't indicate much. Save the alarm bells for when players are staying at the crease but failing to make hay. That's a real indicator of a game in poor health.

If we observe Pant since 2024, his maximum impact and acceleration both is at 5. His SR in the 1st 15 balls at other positions doesn't scream brilliant and is way below average. Pant must bat at 5 for LSG. Use Breetzke at 3, have Pooran at 4 and Pant-Badoni-Mukul to finish.

MI should bat 1st today. Still, the batting hasn't clicked together, and key players are out of form. Put a good score and use the bowlers to defend it. #IPL2026

These are Dewald Brevis' dismissals against pace since 2025. MI were spot on with the planning with short pitched balls. One missed chance right in that cluster of dismissals in the deep midwicket and finally a wicket off an upper cut. #IPL2026

More often than not, Bumrah is used in damage control by MI. Ghazanfar bowled a brilliant 15th. It would've been better to use him in the 16th as CSK batters were looking for runs. Also, if it was decided that Krish would complete Hardik's overs then he should've been used

MI should've batted 1st. Period. RCB, posted a big total and MI threw it away. CSK, too are not a good chasing team. Anything above 200 would've given a great position. Very difficult to understand these decisions by MI management. #IPL2026

Not letting him get that 6th and 7th Title in 2024 and 2025 with the team set up in 2023 and Bumrah Archer to come...will always be a generational fumble. Miss you Ro. 💔

Why do teams fail to understand how important it is to break the rigid 'batting positions' which are suitable in the longer format but not in T20s. T20 batting units must play the situation and have to be flexible. Sending an anchor over designated hitters is completely opposite
