Great to be able to support Christopher Wood MBE. Six years ago I set up sector champions to radically improve accessibility and service for disabled customers. Airline travel was particularly challenging. Huge progress now made including on getting wheelchairs into the cabin. Well

We undoubtedly need welfare reform - the current system is unsustainable. However, Labour’s proposed welfare cuts were rushed through to balance the books and were not done with careful enough consolidation.

Interesting event Institute of Economic Affairs on Welfare Reform. Our welfare system is unsustainable and broken. In some parts of the country (Grimsby, Blackpool, and Glasgow) 50% of people are on out of work benefits. We need radical solutions, not managerial politics. Possible policy

Fantastic to see some of our members at the The Disability Policy Centre report launch in Parliament on access to voting. We must make sure voting is accessible to all and the disability community do not feel disenfranchised. #Disability #AccessibleVoting
