This week I called on the Government to scrap the cruel two-child benefit cap which affects 1.5 million children and their families. Poverty is a political choice and if this Government are serious about tackling rising child poverty they must #EndTheTwoChildCap

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: The two-child limit drives up child poverty and harms kids. Getting rid of the policy would cut child poverty overnight. We want all parties to make serious commitments on child poverty. That must include ending the two-child limit.
