top8 in standard monday challenge with a terrible deck (ub kaito)

randomly decided to play pauper today (regret) with a random deck that's the opposite of what I usually play (why?). I split the finals tho, so we're good.

5-0 with a more Faerie focused UB build

had some Standard cards stuck in a league, so I needed a cheaper pauper deck to play the challenge (low manatrader's capacity). Landed on elves. Played it for the first time ever, did a LOT of mistakes but the deck hard carried me to top8 anyways.

it's so funny that mtgo also gets the reversible shocklands treatment. You can't flip or even see the other side xD

I made t8 with on friday and went 4-2 both saturday and sunday for top16 with UR. The deck is still playable I guess.

Arena is so far behind, I like how mtgo let's me experience being insulted in very different languages. I non-ironically love whenever salty opponents start sending private messages after the game to continue their tantrum. Thank you, il_matagatto!

5-0 on my first try with premodern English Breakfast! Punted a lot of times but somehow got there. The format is fun, sadly is way too expensive to play it irl
