In collaboration with other youth activists, we’ve put a climate justice colloquium together to talk story about what “climate justice” means in Hawai‘i! Hope to see you there :)

A bill was introduced by the State to silence (and criminalize) public dissent. We do not live in an authoritarian state. Oppose HB686.

Racial justice and climate justice are intimately linked. And while we’re grateful the verdict came back guilty, a verdict is not the end goal. Abolition of these racist systems is. We must keep organizing for a more just and equitable future.

As we continue to organize in Occupied Hawai‘i, we must hold dear the fact that Hawaiian culture is inseparable from the Hawaiian land we seek to protect. Haunani-Kay Trask knew this better than most, and she will be dearly missed as the fight for Hawaiian sovereignty lives on.
