Working in ministry, it's easy to focus on all "you don't have". Not enough money, not enough volunteers, no support, etc. We focus more on the lack of laborers than on the abundance of the harvest. (Mt 9:37) The key is to rejoice in the privilege of working in the vineyard.

In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” Jn 1:4-5 And it NEVER WILL!!! His light is stronger than the darkness in the world, in the Church and in you! Trust in Jesus and know His peace.

It might be a very good time to thank your parish priest for all he does each day. Our wonderful holy priests are carrying the sins of their brothers - it’s wearing on them. I can see it. Pray for them, feed them, offer to help in any way, and thank them.
