Really looking forward to this next chapter. It's been an absolute pleasure to guide Royal College of Midwives π comms & engagement over the past 6 years. I've had the support of an amazing team, who go beyond the extra mile to deliver for our members. I'm incredibly proud of all of them.
Key to the failings in midwifery education is the absent watchdog - Nursing and Midwifery Council has moved to self-assessment and outsourced assurance to a private company. Professional Standards Authority wrote to Wes Streeting in June highlighting serious concerns with NMC
