Being willing to ask dumb questions is a superpower. Often by far the fastest way to get oriented in a new domain, and though perhaps counterintuitive, experts tend to love it when people genuinely want to learn about their passion area.

Really everyone can take inspiration from Nintendo's effort in making actual enjoyable gamey games. Sure their IPs carry them and will do so for years to come...but still.

Your game is TOO HARD but you don't know it. The problem is your testers: you only hire young hardcore gamers with 20/20 vision and legendary reflexes. This skews your test results! QA studios: Please hire more OLD/disabled playtesters. To even out your ultra-gamer-kid bias.
