A new series of #SavingLivesAtSea starts tonight & as per tradition we will be rolling out some half-baked puns about us being on at the same time as #GBBO. We promise that this year we won't over egg it and unlike #BakeOff, we'll never judge you for having a soggy bottom 😁

Did you watch #SavingLivesAtSea last night? It's on every Tuesday at 8pm on BBC2 and features some of the incredible rescues performed by our RNLI volunteer crews! 🌊

The season ends on Sunday, but until then our lifeguards are still patrolling the beaches from 10am-6pm daily. Make sure to swim at a lifeguarded beach and between the red and yellow flags 🏊‍♂️🏄‍♀️

Our lifeguards have had a busy time this summer, preventing and responding to incidents across the UK and Ireland. Lifeguards in Cornwall recently went to assist two children who were in some difficulty.

Our peak lifeguard season will be ending soon with patrols on some beaches coming to a close. There will still be lifeguards on some of our beaches so make sure if you're coming to enjoy the coast you find your nearest: rnli.org/find-my-neares…
