And presumably if you use your discretion when applying the ruling, they’ll use their discretion when supporting you :)

Gdc is prosecuting cases based on flawed understanding of the regs, and no independent investigation. Careers at risk - and NO proper investigation, just expert opinion.

Perhaps the GDC understanding the regulations it prosecutes cases under might be a start rather than helping the profession understand something they clearly know how to do already given the number of Blue on blues.

It could even be that the mailbox is set up incorrectly by the BSA as happened to me. Cost £18k over 3/4 years which they refused to accept.

And of course where is the funding then going to come from to them Provide the dentistry that the population need? Currently it’s enough for only about 25% of the population (on today’s dental Costs)

They can’t afford the training infrastructure or the wages after qualification before we think about how Much a bursary would be. Unless it’s just going to be a 10% discount card at Wetherspoons….

And handing it back for Me was like having handcuffs chained to concrete removed. No more inane ‘initiatives’ and emails from the local area team, no ever decreasing hoops to jump through. I’m more likely get a lift to the Moon from a Passing ufo than go back.

To provide the level of care patients need means inc. the number of NHS dentists at least 2x. So you need to train about 18000 EXTRA dentists..will take about 18 years even if you double uni places. You can’t afford the current nhs amount so where’s the funding for more?
