Well - last day in Scottsdale, amazing weather & yes we were out getting in 1 more game of golf…as we rounded a corner heading to the next hole came upon this heron as he was catching some lunch! Would have loved to stay to watch him eat but he didn’t seem to be in a hurry!

When I interviewed legendary broadcaster the late Bob Cole in 2017, he told me some of his fondest memories of his career was calling the Oilers Stanley Cups in the 80s. The Oilers can win the Cup on Monday, the same day as Bob Cole’s birthday. He was born June 24th, 1933.

What a great night we had at McDowell Mountain Park on a guided evening walk with a park ranger looking for scorpions! Came prepared with our blacklight flashlight - they glow under blacklight!! We were not disappointed. We were also treated to a gorgeous sunset.
