Winter outfit.

Iris is fiddling with their spellbook, trying to decipher some of the more complicated texts.

Iris attempts to brush their hair. The brush quickly gets stuck in the tangles of floof.

Any attempt at detangling this brush from their hair results in a myriad of ow’s.

Update: floof is unmanageable. Cannot be contained. Brush is still stuck.

Iris wakes up from another restless dream. They look to their partner beside them, still sleeping soundly, and feel safe again. “Guess it’s time to get up.”

Iris stumbled back up to their room, barely managing to open the door. They’d spent the evening drinking at the tavern below the inn, and this round seemed to have actually done a number on them. They greet @SkillfulBard with a dumb grin on their face. “Hey.”

“It’s comforting to see other tieflings ‘round here.”

Iris sleepily rolled over and looked for @SkillfulBard.

“The things we celebrate back home are a little different, but I hope everyone here has a Merry Christmas. (Did I say that right?) I’ve been so lucky to meet so many new people after comin’ to these bigger cities and I’m excited to meet more.”

“Didja eat all the sweets we stole the other day, @SkillfulBard? ‘Cause I want some.”

“Happy new year! May the gods bless you and all that.”

“Then consider the god’s blessing optional.”

The days ticked by, and Iris was getting restless sitting at their room at the inn without any leads. They decided to go downstairs and get a drink. What else was there to do in this damn town?
